What? Be happy the way you look and don't get something unnecessary as surgery. You might come out looking worse or with complications.

Dont get plastic surgery. Its unnecessary, and I'm sure you look much better than you think. Nothing that plastic surgery changes can really be 'ugly' in the first place.

I would seek advice about this...try the citizens advice bureau..

If the cash-flow of the business is in this condition she should not be trading as she is bankrupt. That is if what she is telling you is true...

The carers are in a difficult situation as if they do not turn up for work, its the clients who suffer not the employer...

I wish you were nearer me (Shropshire) as I am just starting trading as a Homecare Service....I would employ and pay you...

This should depend on how much care they need within that 24 hour period. For minimal care and 3 meals i charge 75 for 24 hours, but unlisc. usually charge around 40 i believe.

You should probably talk it over with her. Just for a guide, when I was taking care of my mom a friend of mine would help out when I needed her and I paid her $50 a day to go over there 3 times a day to help her with dressing and fix her meals. She went over there, did not stay. Caregivers such as a CNA get about $15 per hour in my area, north central Illinois.

You'll have to do a thorough analysis of your expenses and desired profit as they relate to the tasks you have to perform. Will you have to do any of her laundry? Definitely have to provide meals 3 + snack or two. Will she just sit in front of the TV all day or will you have to take her outside for a walk/ride. Trips to a doctor? Insurance?.

If you could get about $100 per day (includes all services) you should do well. Remember you are giving personal care, not general care for a large group.

Be careful not to form a gallstone. Post postpartum women often have gallbladder attacks. Sudden extreme weight loss is what forms gallstones. You give birth to a baby and suddenly lose 20 lbs in a day.

I know because I just had my gallbladder removed and it was a 2 1/2 cm stone which most likely got from having my son who is now 3 years old. It takes a very long time to develop a 2 1/2 cm stone. 3 years...
When I was 9 months pregnant with my son I weighed 211 lbs. Now I weigh 132 lbs. And I just had my gallbladder removed. The slower the weight loss the better!

Be careful with diet pills--I've had some bad experiences trying some of them. What I did find to work really well though was a natural supplement of Acai berry which I actually saw on Oprah and Rachel Ray. It was a while ago, but I ordered a free sample from and it's been great for helping increase my energy, metabolism, and keeping my body healthy! I've lost weight and I feel much, much better than I did when I was on the pills.
